The meeting was called to order by President, Perry England. 24 homes were represented; 11 proxies.
The Board was introduced, and all Beach Club members present introduced themselves. Merrilee was asked to review the financial statement: $18,647.78 in income and $14,230.84 in expenses for the year. Dues are set at $130. $2000 was transferred to the Cash Reserve Fund, which has a total of $9947.43. Perry mentioned that it is the Board’s intention to carry a reserve fund of $12,000 to cover fixed operating expenses such as maintenance, repairs, utilities, supplies and insurance for a year and be able to pay for any catastrophic incident or event.
A proposed annual budget using projected annual dues for 2016 was voted on and accepted unanimously. Improvements to the Beach Club will be carefully monitored and accomplished within the budget.
Items to be accomplished:
Replace pier railing & stain Landscape improvements
Paint tunnel Beach sand
Improve step down from patio to grass Bathhouse upper room storage improvements
Install paddleboard rack near boat rack Clean out and organize storage shed
Rework landing platform on west side of tunnel Addition of storage lockers in Bathhouse upper room
Security cameras were discussed, and it was stated that the neighbors have cameras which are motion-sensored. When there is a breach in security, 911 is called and we pull the access codes. The security lights on the pathway are motion activated also for better screening. Stolen mail out of our mailboxes has been found by the tunnel. Everyone is asked to be on the lookout for stolen mail and report it immediately.
The seven members currently on the Board have agreed to return to office. The Board nominated Vibhor Bhatt, and Rich Welnick agreed to be on the Board also. It was voted unanimously to elect the nine members to the Board.

The addition of a Youth Adjunct Board Member was discussed, with that young person being a non-voting member who would be a liaison to young household members and be of help in keeping the Beach Club inspected and cleaned up. Anyone knowing a good prospect is asked to contact the Board.

For the good of the order:
Dogs should be kept on a leash when other guests are present. Clean up after your pet.
Because this is a shared facility, everyone is responsible for cleaning up after themselves and properly storing and securing any items that they have used.
It is important to return keys, paddles, boats, life vests and community property to their proper location.
Hours for the Beach Club are DAWN TO DUSK. Please respect this for the sake of our neighbors.
Life vests MUST be worn at all times by EVERYONE
For any suspicious or mischievous activity, call 911 immediately
An inventory list will be made of all boats, paddleboards and supplies and posted. Lockers are being considered for the storage room. Paddles and life vests will be purchased this year.
Christie Upjohn announced that Yoga classes will be offered to the neighborhood in her house. Anyone interested can contact her at Christieu@comcast.net
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
Respectfully submitted,
Merrilee George,
Recording Secretary
